Responsibilities Decorate cakes, cookies and other small baked goods with intricate designs, piping, fondant, and other decorative techniques to meet customer specifications and company standards Prepare cake fillings, frostings, and decorative elements adhering to recipes and food safety guidelines Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and decorating tools efficiently and safely Package finished products carefully for delivery or display, ensuring presentation quality and food safety compliance Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following sanitation protocols and cleaning schedules Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders while adhering to recipe standards and quality expectations Support coworkers and contribute to a positive and respectful team environment. Assist lead bakers as needed Perform decorating, baking and customer service duties as assigned. Qualifications Baking and cake decorating experience Strong skills in cake decorating techniques including piping, fondant work, and sculpting Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety management practices, and kitchen equipment operation Experience in food industry environments with an emphasis on baked goods and culinary craftsmanship Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining consistency Basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and ingredient adjustments Excellent customer service skills for understanding client requests and delivering personalized decorated cakes Prior experience in food preparation, dough handling, baking, and pastry creation is highly desirable Reliable, punctual, self-motivated and open to feedback. Ability to lift 50 pounds We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail, and genuinely enjoys creating beautiful cakes.
