About the Role As a morning baker, you'll help keep daily production moving, from shaping dough and loading ovens to packaging finished products. This is an active, physical role in a warm, fast-paced bakery, with a mix of hands-on tasks and repetitive work that requires focus and consistency. You don't need to arrive knowing how to bake. Kitchen, baking, production, or food service experience is welcome, but we're happy to train someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and ready to work. Success in this role means building your skills, working efficiently without sacrificing quality, and communicating with your teammates. We value people who take feedback well, ask questions when something is unclear, and notice where they can lend a hand. Your Schedule Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-2:30 PM Full-time with a set weekly schedule No nights or weekends Most shifts are eight hours; some production days may run longer, so flexibility to stay and help finish the day's work is needed. What You'll Do Shape bread, prepare pans, and help get products ready to bake. Load and unload commercial ovens and remove baked goods from pans. Help shape and bake our handmade pretzels. Package breads, cookies, biscotti, pretzels, and other baked goods. Learn to use commercial bakery equipment and follow procedures for working with lye in our pretzel-making process. Check your work for consistent quality and accuracy. Follow food safety procedures, wash dishes, and keep work areas clean and organized. Move between tasks as needed to support the team and complete daily production.

The role requires standing for most of the shift, working in a warm environment, lifting up to 60 pounds, and regularly bending, kneeling, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
