In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and other confections, ensuring each item meets our high standards for quality and presentation. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a diverse range of baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and specialty items following established recipes and standards. Operate kitchen equipment including mixers, ovens, proofers, and dough sheeters safely and efficiently. Decorate cakes and pastries with precision using various cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing products. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards throughout the shift. Package baked goods carefully for retail display or catering orders while ensuring freshness and presentation quality. Assist in food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, dough preparation, and portioning to support high-volume production needs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods for daily sales or special events. Experience Previous experience in food production or bakery settings is highly preferred, especially with high-volume baking environments. Demonstrated pastry preparation skills including dough handling, cake decorating, and recipe adherence. Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures. Skilled in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently within a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong knife skills for dough shaping, slicing baked goods, and ingredient prep. Experience in catering or large-scale food service operations is a plus. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes.
