Duties Prepare a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies following established recipes and standards. Decorate cakes and pastries with precision to meet presentation expectations. Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and other baking tools safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety management practices and sanitation standards. Package baked items carefully for retail display or customer takeout while ensuring freshness and quality. Assist in food preparation tasks related to dough making, pastry assembly, and other bakery functions. Support high-volume production needs by working efficiently during busy periods while maintaining consistency. Requirements Previous bakery or pastry experience is highly preferred; familiarity with cake decorating and dough preparation is a plus. Strong knife skills and knowledge of baking techniques are essential for producing high-quality baked goods. Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency across all products. Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and maintaining a clean workspace at all times. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory levels. Excellent attention to detail combined with a passion for culinary excellence in baked goods. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
