Responsibilities:
Prepare and assemble donut dough using established recipes and precise measurements ensuring consistent quality and presentation
Operate commercial baking equipment such as mixers, fryers, and glazing machines with safety and efficiency
Assist in food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and portioning dough
Shape, proof, fry, glaze and produce donuts to meet quality standards and presentation expectations
Always maintain cleanliness of the work area including cleaning equipment and utensils
Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure product quality
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing
Racking finished baked goods efficiently for retail display or wholesale orders, ensuring freshness and hygiene
Assist in loading finished products for distribution
Support high-volume production during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
Lead the production team in donut making process
Ensure the donut quality, presentation and standards are met daily
Experience:
Must have baking and strong dough experience
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry arts, with a focus on baked goods or donuts preferred
Strong cutting skills and familiarity with donut decorating techniques
Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures
Experience with food packaging, catering, or restaurant operations in a high-volume setting
Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with team members and customers
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining precision and cleanliness
Culinary experience that includes cooking, food preparation, and kitchen organization is highly valued
Ability to work with production team and hold team accountable
