What You'll Be Doing Preparing and baking biscuits, breads, pastries, desserts, and other baked goods Mixing doughs and batters according to established recipes Preparing pizza dough and other scratch-made products Producing consistent, high-quality items every day Organizing daily production and completing prep efficiently Maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace Assisting with inventory, ingredient rotation, and kitchen organization Working closely with the rest of the team to keep production running smoothly Helping us develop a bakery program that Springfield can be proud of What We're Looking For Professional baking or kitchen experience is required Comfortable working with doughs, batters, ovens, and commercial kitchen equipment Able to lift and carry 50-pound bags of flour Strong attention to detail and consistency Dependable, punctual, and ready to work Able to follow recipes, production schedules, and systems accurately Familiar with food safety and sanitation standards Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Pride in making great food and doing the little things well The Right Person for This Role You don't have to know everything on day one, but you do need to care about your work.
