Duties:
Prepare, mix, knead, shape, proof, bake, decorate, finish, package, and store breads, pastries, and other baked goods. Measure and scale ingredients according to recipes and production needs. Operate bakery equipment including mixers, ovens, proofers, dough sheeters, racks, trays, pans, and scales. Monitor dough consistency, proofing, baking times, temperatures, and finished product quality. Prepare fillings, icings, toppings, and glazes as needed. Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, trays, racks, machinery, and food preparation surfaces in accordance with employer standards and applicable health and safety rules. Assist with stock rotation, ingredient handling, loading/unloading ingredients and baked goods, and general bakery production support. Follow daily production schedules and supervisor instructions regarding quantity, timing, and product type. Lift and carry ingredients, dough, trays, pans, and baked goods weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive hand motions for extended periods during shift. Work in a bakery environment with exposure to flour dust, heat, and commercial bakery equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
Three (3) months of bakery experience required. No formal education required. No foreign language required. No license or certification required. No travel required. No housing provided. No daily transportation provided.
Work Schedule:
Workdays:
Sunday through Saturday, as scheduled.
Shift hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Employer will offer at least 40 hours of work per week.
Up to 16 hours of overtime may be available per week, depending on business needs. Days and shifts may vary based on production demand.
Wage Offer/ Piece-Rate Guarantee:
Workers will be paid on a piece-rate basis. Employer's current piece-rate method is calculated at 15% of bread produced by worker. Employer guarantees that each worker's total earnings in every workweek will equal or exceed the offered wage of $13.37 per hour tor all hours worked. Employer will maintain accurate records of hours worked and piece-rate earnings. If, at the end of any workweek, the worker's piece-rate earnings do not equal or exceed theamount the worker would have earned had the worker been paid $13.37 per hour for each hour worked, Employer will supplement the worker's pay in the same pay period so that the worker's total weekly earnings are at least equal to $13.37 per hour for each hour worked.
Overtime:
Overtime may be available. Hours worked in excess of 40 in a workweek will be compensated in accordance with applicable federal and state law, and at no less than an hourly equivalent of $20.06 per overtime hour worked.
Pay Frequency:
Workers will be paid biweekly.
Deductions:
Employer will make only those deductions from the worker's paycheck that are required by federal or state law, including applicable federal income tax withholding, Social Security, and Medicare. No other deductions will be made.
Board/ Lodging/ Other Facilities:
None. Employer does not provide housing.
Tools, Supplies, and Equipment:
Employer will provide, at no charge to the worker, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Workers will be provided with on-the-job training to perform the duties assigned.
Transportation and Subsistence:
If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, Employer will provide or reimburse the worker for transportation and daily subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the Employer to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50 percent of the period of employment covered by the job order, consistent with applicable law. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed early for any reason other than for cause, Employer will provide or pay for return transportation and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place from which the worker departed to work for the Employer, unless excepted by law. Employer will reimburse in the first workweek all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker, to the extent required by law.
Three-Fourths Guarantee:
Employer guarantees to offer the worker employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the job order or its extensions, if any.
Single Workweek:
Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.

Employer will provide to U.S. workers no less than the same benefits, wages, and working conditions that Employer Is offering, intends to offer, or will provide to H-2B workers.
