MUST HAVE CAKE DECORATION EXPERIANCE

We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and cake decorating, with a strong background in food production and culinary arts. This role involves creating visually appealing cakes and desserts that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. The Cake Decorator will also assist in food preparation and packaging, ensuring that all products are safe for consumption and delivered to customers with exceptional service. Duties Design and decorate cakes and pastries according to customer specifications and company standards. Utilize various decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and airbrushing, to create intricate designs. Prepare cake batter, icings, and fillings while adhering to food safety guidelines. Package finished products for display or delivery, ensuring they are presented attractively. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, following all food handling and safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to fulfill catering orders or special requests from customers. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients regarding their cake needs and preferences. Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies needed for baking and decorating tasks. Qualifications Proven experience in cake decorating, with a portfolio showcasing previous work preferred. Background in food production or culinary arts is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Excellent knife skills and experience in baking techniques are essential. Prior experience in catering or restaurant environments is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
