COOK ASSISTANT

Schedule:

12 PM - 7:30 PM 4 Days on, 2 days off rotating schedule

DAILY JOB DUTIES

Prepare desserts Dip up desserts. Set up trays Sort tray tickets Clean microwave Clean sink Clean under sink Keep counters and walls cleaned off Take trash out Make sure you have sanitizer bucket fixed at all times Sweep and mop floor after lunch and breakfast (if spill any thing on floor clean up) Make sure you check dates on foods in refrigerator Make sure milk and juices are iced down for hall carts Make sure all items you use is dated and sealed Clean out white refrigerator nothing but juice, milk, left over fruit-nothing else. Clean dining room on truck days Keep your side clean and neat.

Qualifications:

Check cleaning list on board to see what and when you need to clean Must complete Job Specific Training. Sufficient verbal and written communication skills to perform the tasks required and follow instructions Current food handlers certificate required Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance. Must cooperate with all company policies including random drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiries. Performs routine job duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Job Functions:

Complies with safety policies and practices. Follows basic lifting policy and procedures. Uses equipment correctly after attending orientation and training. Participates in all assigned meetings. Reports for duty in approved uniform/appropriate dress. Maintains high standards of personal hygiene. Displays courteous behavior toward residents, visitors and co-workers. Follows Company service standards for making daily contact with residents, greeting visitors, and making contact with newly admitted residents. Performs other duties as assigned
