Job Description
Now Hiring! We are looking for a bakery/pastry assistant. Donut frying and bakery experience helpful but not required. Starting part time with room to grow into a full time position. Competitive compensation depending on experience. We are a small specialty bakery and coffee roaster with a cafe open 7 days a week. We are looking for an experienced donut maker to assist/take over our yeast and cake fried donut making and maintain our quality standards and consistentency of product. Job duties and requirements Mix, roll, and shape dough/batter Fry, glaze, fill and decorate donuts Safely operate donut fryer and maintain/filter replace oil as necessary Strictly adhere to all ServeSafe and local health codes. Ability to stand for long periods of time Able to lift up to 50lbs Must have strong attention to detail and cleanliness Current shifts will include: Frying/baking from 4am-9am on Saturday/Sundays 2-4 hours of prep work on Thursday and Fridays Additional shifts may be available M-F for preparing/baking pastries We are a small team working in a limited space so reliability and ability to work with others is essential.
