The first 90 days of employment will focus on training in bakery operations, procedures, , and company policies. During this period, employees will earn $18.00 per hour. Upon successful completion of training and demonstration of competency in required duties, employees will be eligible for an increase to the baker pay range of $20.00-25.00 per hour and tips. Duties Prepare a wide range breads and rolls, following established recipes and standards Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients for various menu items Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, and other culinary tools Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols Ensure consistent quality by adhering strictly to recipes and portion sizes during high-volume production shifts Support catering events by preparing large quantities of baked goods and food items while maintaining excellent customer service Requirements Must have proven experience in baking, or pastry preparation within a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently with attention to detail Excellent organizational skills with the ability to follow recipes accurately and manage multiple tasks simultaneously High-volume production experience preferred, especially within the food industry or catering services Basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and recipe adjustments Customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward team collaboration Culinary experience that demonstrates proficiency in baking, and food presentation Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace in compliance with health regulations
