Responsibilities Prepare a diverse range of baked goods, including doughs, pastries, cakes, and bread, following established recipes and standards Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and decorating tools efficiently and safely Decorate cakes and pastries with attention to detail using various cake decorating techniques Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations Package baked items carefully for retail display or catering orders while ensuring product quality Assist in food preparation tasks related to baking, including measuring ingredients and assembling components Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, restocking as needed to support high-volume production Requirements Proven pastry or baking experience with a strong understanding of baking techniques and food production processes Skilled in cake decorating, dough preparation, and operating kitchen equipment safely Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to hygiene standards Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-volume production environment Strong attention to detail with excellent knife skills for precise cutting and shaping of baked goods Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing recipes effectively Previous experience in the food industry or culinary setting is preferred; catering experience is a plus Good customer service skills for engaging with clients or team members when needed Familiarity with packaging techniques for baked goods and maintaining a clean workspace at all times Join our team as a Baker where your culinary talents will shine!
