Overview Mangini's Pizzeria is a family-friendly, community-focused pizzeria in Imperial Beach with an artisan coffee window. We're looking for a skilled, reliable Barista to craft excellent espresso drinks, greet guests with a smile, and help create a welcoming experience — not just at the window, but by offering coffee to guests in our dining area too. Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality espresso and coffee drinks according to our recipes and standards. Operate the espresso machine and other café equipment safely and efficiently. Take customer orders accurately at the coffee window and register. Walk the dining area to offer refills or suggest coffee drinks to seated guests. Handle cash and card transactions through our POS system. Assist with pastries and light snack prep as needed. Keep the coffee station clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times. Follow all health and food safety guidelines. Work with the team to ensure smooth service during busy morning and lunch hours. Requirements Prior barista experience required — must be able to hit the ground running. Basic math and POS skills for handling payments accurately. Friendly, professional attitude with strong communication skills. Able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment. Must have or be willing to obtain a valid California Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire (required by law). RBS Certification is a plus — or willingness to get certified.
