Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and providing outstanding customer service. If you have a love for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, we want to hear from you! Duties Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to standard recipes. Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently to process customer orders and payments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations at all times. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, pastries, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Demonstrate time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively while maintaining quality service. Requirements Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage recipes is a plus. Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling regulations. Excellent math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Exceptional time management skills to thrive in a busy café environment. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with a focus on providing help and support to customers. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about coffee culture and sales techniques.
