Our Baristas are an important part of creating a welcoming experience for every guest. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in preparing high-quality coffee, beverages, and food while keeping the café clean and organized. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service. Prepare and serve espresso drinks, coffee, teas, specialty beverages, and other menu items according to company standards. Take customer orders accurately and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit card, and other transactions accurately. Prepare and serve food items while following proper food-handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, counters, dining areas, equipment, and workstations. Restock cups, ingredients, food, supplies, and merchandise as needed. Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines. Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and health requirements. Complete opening, closing, and assigned side-work duties. Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and management. Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining excellent customer service. Assist teammates as needed to keep café operations running smoothly. Follow company policies regarding attendance, punctuality, dress code, safety, and professional conduct. Qualifications Previous barista, café, restaurant, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to learn beverage recipes, menu items, and operating procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine café duties, including bending, reaching, and lifting supplies. Ability to obtain and maintain any required food-handler certification. Must meet all applicable age and employment requirements. Schedule Availability may include early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on business needs. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential to this position.
