Job Overview ChaiAum serves authentic Himalayan chai and snacks in Pleasanton. We're a small team that cares about good tea, coffee, food and making every guest feel welcome. We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Experienced Barista & Customer Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our café, delivering exceptional beverage and food service while providing outstanding customer support. Your enthusiasm for tea & coffee, combined with your ability to handle retail transactions efficiently, will create a welcoming environment for every guest. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your barista skills and customer service expertise in a fast-paced, friendly setting. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, matcha and smoothies, ensuring quality and presentation standards to our recipes are met. Take orders, handle payments, and keep the line moving Greet guests, answer menu questions, and recommend favorites Keep the counter, prep area, and seating clean and stocked Help with opening/closing and related tasks and occasional events Uphold food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
