We're building an opening team of warm, dependable and motivated people who care about hospitality, quality and creating a café guests genuinely enjoy returning to. Whether you already have barista experience or are excited to learn, we're looking for team members who take pride in their work, support one another and want to grow with us from the beginning. Previous barista experience is preferred; 1 year or more is a plus. Training is available for candidates who bring the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.

Work Location:
In person — Natomas, Sacramento What You'll Do Welcome each guest with genuine hospitality and help create a warm, memorable café experience. Learn the menu and confidently help guests choose coffees, teas, specialty beverages, pastries and food items they'll enjoy. Craft Haraz signature beverages with consistency, attention to detail and care. Prepare espresso beverages using proper extraction, milk-steaming and drink-building techniques. Develop smooth, well-textured milk for lattes, cappuccinos and specialty drinks. Prepare, warm, plate and serve pastries and food according to Haraz standards. Accurately enter orders, process payments and operate the café's point-of-sale system. Handle cash and other payment transactions carefully and accurately. Follow food-safety, sanitation, allergen-awareness and proper food-handling practices. Help keep every part of the café clean, organized and ready for guests, including counters, tables, beverage stations, equipment, floors and restrooms. Wash dishes and utensils, clear guest areas, take out trash and restock ingredients, cups, food, merchandise and supplies as needed. Complete assigned opening, closing and daily café responsibilities. Stay calm, organized and service-focused during busy periods. Communicate clearly with teammates and step in where needed to keep service running smoothly. Accept coaching with a positive attitude and continue developing your skills over time. Learn the ingredients, preparation methods and stories behind Haraz products so you can speak about them confidently with guests. Support the overall operation of the café wherever needed throughout the shift. What We're Looking For A genuine interest in coffee, hospitality and creating great guest experiences. Friendly, dependable and professional communication. Strong teamwork and a willingness to help wherever needed. Ability to stay organized and work with a sense of urgency in a busy café environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to consistent quality. A positive attitude toward learning, coaching and developing new skills. Interest in growing your knowledge of espresso preparation, espresso dialing, milk texturing and latte art . Previous experience in coffee, cafés, restaurants, hospitality, retail or customer service is a plus. Experience with Toast or another POS system is a plus. Experience using La Marzocco or other commercial espresso equipment is a plus. Food-safety or food-handling experience is a plus. Basic cash-handling and math skills. Availability for mornings, evenings and weekends based on scheduling needs. Team members rotate between beverage preparation, food service, register, stocking and cleaning responsibilities—including dishes and restroom upkeep.
