Position Overview We're looking for a dependable Barista driven by a passion for hospitality, a growth mindset, and high coachability. Job Responsibilities Drink & Food Preparation Keep bar area clean and ready at all times Sanitize tools between drinks, even during rushes Dial in espresso with precision and minimal waste Steam milk to ideal texture/temp with minimal waste Prepare specialty coffee and tea beverages following recipes and quality standards Operate commercial brewing equipment Serve drinks, pastries, and food efficiently Portion ingredients, restock, and organize stations for seamless shift and station handoffs Multitasking & Operational Flow Move adaptably across all stations during shifts Proactively support team workflow where its needed most Execute tickets efficiently without losing quality Stay calm, professional, and welcoming during peak periods Balance prep, maintenance, and guest engagement Clean, stock, and prep during downtime while staying attentive to guests Customer Service & Hospitality Take initiative to engage with guests to nurture welcoming environment for all Take accurate POS orders, noting preferences & allergies Greet all guests warmly upon entering Pass guest feedback to management to boost product quality and team development Guide guests through menu and with tailored recommendations Process payments efficiently (cash and credit) Bar & Store Maintenance Opening and closing procedures Keep bar, dining areas, and FOH clean and stocked throughout shifts and for upcoming shifts Rotate stock (FIFO), restock, and label prep accurately Perform daily equipment care and deep cleaning Report any maintenance needs promptly Follow all health codes Share guest feedback with managers Required Qualifications Barista, Bartender, or Server experience preferred Hands-on commercial espresso machine experience Food safety knowledge (Food Handler Cert preferred) Strong communication, active listening, and basic math Coachability and having a team-focused mindset Flexible availability (mornings, weekends, holidays) Reliable transport and punctuality Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
