As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our café. Your expertise in customer service and food safety will help us maintain high standards of quality and satisfaction. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Prepare and serve food efficiently, according to recipes and customer needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions and manage cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers. Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience. Requirements Previous experience in coffee or food service is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing sales accurately. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
