Barista / CashierOverview We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Barista/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, takes pride in preparing quality drinks, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced coffee shop environment. This role will also occasionally assist with creating simple social media content that showcases our drinks, atmosphere, and day-to-day café experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty drinks Take customer orders accurately and efficiently Operate the POS system and handle cash and card transactions Provide friendly and welcoming customer service Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffee bar and front-of-house area Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards Restock ingredients, cups, supplies, and merchandise as needed Assist with opening and closing duties Help create occasional social media content, including photos and short videos of drinks, new menu items, café events, and the overall customer experience Stay aware of current social media trends and contribute creative content ideas when appropriate Work collaboratively with other team members to provide a great customer experience Requirements Previous barista, food service, retail, or customer service experience is preferred Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy periods Comfortable using a POS system and handling cash transactions Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team Comfortable taking photos and short-form videos for social media Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok is a plus Interest in coffee, hospitality, and creating a welcoming café environment
