Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and creative Barista to join our team in the coffee shop located inside Wabash General Hospital. This individual will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and specialty beverages with excellent customer service. In addition to barista duties, this role includes managing social media content to promote the coffee shop and engage with customers.
Barista Duties:
Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee drinks. Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all customers. Operate espresso machines and other coffee equipment safely and efficiently. Handle cash and digital payments accurately. Restock inventory and monitor supply levels. Comply with all health and safety guidelines.
Social Media Duties:
Create engaging and creative content for the coffee shop's social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, etc.). Promote daily specials, new menu items, and seasonal offerings. Take and edit photos of drinks, the shop, and special events. Respond to customer comments and messages in a timely, friendly manner. Collaborate with hospital marketing to ensure brand consistency. This position is located in a customer-focused environment inside the Remedies Cafe. You'll have the opportunity to brighten someone's day—whether it's a healthcare worker, visitor, or patient family member—one cup at a time.
