• Maintain a full understanding of The Tilma Cafe beverage menu
• Prepare made-to-order beverages to deliver the best product in terms of speed, presentation, taste, and food safety
• Continue to grow and develop one's skills through personal development, research, and training so to advance the beverage experience for the customers and staff
• Inform your team in rich depth on the beverage menu through designated means
• Train your teammates in your role so that they can proficiently step in when needed
• Cross train in other Cafe roles and develop proficient skills in these roles so to be able to step in when needed
• Collaborate with Cafe Manager to maintain facilities, tableware, equipment, inventory, etc. for smooth day-to-day operations
• Report consistent success and failure points to Cafe Manager to improve resources and processes
• Perform as a team to serve our guests in a culture of gratitude, accountability, and reliance on the Lord
• Represent The Tilma Cafe with dignity, respect, and joy
• Contribute to making the work environment one that every member of the team wants to be at
• Other duties as assigned by the Cafe Manager Qualifications Candidates have a passion for hospitality, quality, and respect - ultimately creating an exceptional experience for each person served at The Tilma Cafe.

This position requires baristas to be on their feet for long periods of time. A good applicant can handle a fast-paced work environment and is prepared to execute tasks under stress with excellence and consistency.

Necessary skills and abilities include:

excellent communication skills, technological proficiency, ability to manage several tasks at once, organizational/record-keeping abilities. Prior experience as a barista in the restaurant industry preferred but not required.

Pay:

$10.00 - $20.00 per hour
