- Part-time Tasting Room Associate (Part-Time Weekends) About Oz Winery Since 2007, Oz Winery has been crafting small-batch wines in the heart of Wamego, Kansas.
Inspired by the world of Oz, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, memorable experience where every guest feels at home—whether they're enjoying a tasting, shopping for gifts, or discovering a new favorite wine. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a friendly, creative, and customer-focused individual to join our team on weekends and help us create exceptional experiences both in the tasting room and beyond. What You'll Do Welcome guests and provide exceptional hospitality from the moment they walk through the door Guide visitors through wine tastings and answer questions about our wines, winery, and local area Serve wine flights, glasses of wine, and small bites Assist customers with retail purchases and personalized wine recommendations Share the benefits of our quarterly Oz Wine Club and encourage memberships Keep the tasting room clean, organized, and inviting throughout the day Restock merchandise and assist with opening and closing responsibilities Help support winery events and seasonal promotions as needed Bring fresh ideas to help enhance the guest experience and support the winery's continued growth What We're Looking For (Must be 21 years of age or older to apply) We're looking for someone who is: Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys talking with people Passionate about creating memorable customer experiences Dependable and available to work weekends consistently Creative, motivated, and excited to contribute to a growing small business Comfortable learning about wine and confidently sharing that knowledge with guests Organized, adaptable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds No previous wine experience is required. We provide comprehensive in-house wine education and training. We're looking for someone with the right attitude and personality—we'll teach you the wine. Why Join Oz Winery?
