Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other drinks with precision and flair Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner to ensure excellent service and build lasting relationships Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, processing cash and card payments accurately Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage stations, and seating areas to meet food safety standards Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling baked goods or light snacks while adhering to food safety protocols Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality Follow proper food handling procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers Skills Proven experience as a barista or in food service, with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service techniques Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient retail transactions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively under pressure Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and processing transactions accurately Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours effectively Previous café or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Embark on an exciting journey with us where your energy fuels our vibrant café culture!
