This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, friendly setting while making a positive impact on our community. •Weekday availability required!• Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent service and answering questions about menu items Follow sanitation procedures diligently to maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with food safety standards Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas through regular sanitation procedures Manage food safety protocols by adhering to proper handling, storage, and preparation guidelines Support team members during busy periods by assisting with order assembly and customer requests Skills Strong commitment to customer service excellence with a friendly, approachable attitude Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety management practices Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment preferred but not required Ability to operate POS systems confidently for smooth transactions Familiarity with food safety standards to ensure compliance at all times Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced setting Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly to changing priorities Join us as a Barista and be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering quality coffee experiences while fostering a vibrant community space.
