Job Overview Perfect for online high school students, PSEO students or online college students or SAHM as all positions are part time. Join our vibrant team as a Barista & Dirty Soda Creator, where your passion for coffee, beverages, and exceptional customer service will shine! In this energetic role! If you thrive in fast-paced settings and love sharing your beverage expertise, this is the perfect role for you! Duties Prepare a variety of coffee drinks, specialty beverages, and non-alcoholic concoctions with precision and flair, including our popular dirty sodas. Including bagel sandwiches. Operate POS systems to process sales transactions efficiently and accurately. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders clearly, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas by following food safety standards and cleaning protocols. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change using basic math skills. Manage beverage inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with food handling and preparation when required. Support team members during busy periods by multitasking effectively while maintaining a positive attitude. Experience Prior experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Demonstrated ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS confidently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper beverage preparation techniques. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods. Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math calculations, and processing transactions accurately. Experience in retail sales transactions within the food industry is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
