Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and care Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems like Toast POS Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently while balancing registers at shift end Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide personalized beverage and food recommendations Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, equipment sanitation, and general tidiness Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and hygiene Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, including assembling beverages and light food items Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and efficiently Skills Experience with coffee making and beverage service in a café or food industry setting Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process payments swiftly Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, change calculation, and transaction processing Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Join us if you're passionate about creating delightful beverage experiences while delivering top-notch customer service!
