Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, specialty beverages and ice cream with precision and care. Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing excellent customer service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling, food preparation, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions. Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, cups, utensils, and other café essentials. Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff. Qualifications Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles within cafés or retail environments. Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and food safety standards. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions. Experience in serving food and beverages in a fast-paced setting is preferred. Basic understanding of retail math principles related to sales and cash handling.
