Our café is an extension of the Rise & Tone experience—a place for clients to enjoy a thoughtfully crafted matcha or coffee before or after class and feel welcomed into our community. We're looking for someone who takes pride in both quality and presentation and is confident preparing espresso-based beverages, ceremonial-grade matcha, latte art, and house-style cold foams. You should be comfortable working independently, connecting with clients, and keeping a small café bar clean, organized, and running smoothly. Responsibilities Prepare high-quality espresso beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, and other specialty drinks Properly prepare and whisk ceremonial-grade matcha for hot and iced beverages Create consistent latte art and beautifully presented drinks Prepare flavored and specialty cold foams Follow studio recipes, measurements, and presentation standards to ensure consistency Welcome clients warmly, take orders, and provide friendly and attentive service Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked café bar throughout each shift Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures Restock milks, matcha, coffee, syrups, cups, and other café supplies as needed Work efficiently during busy periods, particularly before and after class times Collaborate with the Rise & Tone team to create a welcoming and elevated studio experience Experience & Qualifications 1+ year of barista, café, or food & beverage experience preferred Experience preparing espresso-based beverages Knowledge of proper ceremonial matcha preparation strongly preferred Latte art experience preferred Experience preparing cold foam and specialty beverages is a plus Strong attention to detail and presentation Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with clients Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Able to multitask and stay organized in a small café environment Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper cleaning practices Willingness to learn and follow Rise & Tone's drink recipes and standards What We Value We're looking for someone who is: Warm and welcoming Reliable and punctual Detail-oriented Clean and organized Calm under pressure Team-oriented Passionate about quality Excited to be part of a growing studio and community At Rise & Tone, every detail contributes to the experience.
