Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Handle retail sales transactions with attention to detail, including cash handling, processing credit/debit card payments, and issuing receipts. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food prep zones in accordance with food safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries or concerns professionally. Assist in food handling and food preparation tasks when needed to ensure timely service and product quality. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth beverage service and quick turnaround times. Experience Previous experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus. Proven cashiering skills with experience using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change accurately, and processing transactions efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Experience in beverage serving or barista roles demonstrates your ability to craft quality drinks under pressure.
