Duties Greet customers warmly and take their beverage and food orders with enthusiasm and accuracy Prepare a wide range of non-alcoholic drinks, including specialty coffees, teas, smoothies, and other beverages following established recipes and standards Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales efficiently and accurately Handle cash transactions, process payments, give correct change, and balance cash drawers at shift end Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and customer seating areas Ensure food safety standards are met by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures Assist with retail sales transactions by restocking supplies, organizing product displays, and managing inventory levels Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions about menu items, offering recommendations, and resolving any concerns promptly Support food preparation tasks as needed to ensure timely service during busy periods Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers quickly while maintaining high-quality standards Qualifications Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is highly valued Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math tasks Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Experience with beverage service, drink preparation, and retail sales transactions is advantageous Must be reliable, punctual, and able to stand for extended periods throughout shifts Join us in creating an inviting environment where every guest feels valued!
