Job Overview We are seeking a EXPERIENCED, passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. MUST know specialty coffee including milk textures, presentation and different coffee recipes (Cappuccino, Latte, Cortado, Flat White and more) Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate the POS system for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food handling and preparation. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and cash handling. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Stay knowledgeable about coffee products, brewing methods, and menu offerings to enhance customer experience. Familiarity with Toast POS system preferred. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods.
