Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced café environment. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and dining areas. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food handling and preparation. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies. Engage with customers to promote sales of food items and beverages while ensuring a positive experience. Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and register operations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Experience Previous barista experience or experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
