Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items to our customers in a fast-paced and busy environment. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, a passion for coffee, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.

Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea drinks, including specialty drinks and seasonal flavors along with some baked goods.
• Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Manage the front of the house and ensure that the store is clean, organized, and inviting to customers.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure that customers have a positive experience.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Keep up-to-date with menu items and promotions.
• Perform basic math and handle cash and credit transactions.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Work effectively with a team to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency.
• Utilize POS systems, to manage orders and transactions.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a barista a must.
• Strong knowledge of coffee and coffee-making techniques.
• Basic math skills and experience handling cash and credit transactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures.
• Experience with POS systems and cash registers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
