Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for retail sales transactions and cash handling. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas to ensure food safety and a hygienic environment. Manage food handling and food preparation tasks in accordance with food safety guidelines. Process cash transactions efficiently while balancing cash registers at the end of shifts using retail math skills. Support beverage service and drink presentation to enhance the overall customer experience with timely delivery. Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in food service with a strong understanding of beverage preparation techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods without compromising quality. Basic math proficiency for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in a café or food industry setting. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and cleaning tasks.
