based on experience, plus tips

Hours:

30 to 40 hours/week (1 opening)

Shifts:

AM 6:30am to 1:30pm, PM 1:30pm to 7:30pm Business hours: 7:00am to 7:00pm, open every day. Weekend and holiday availability required. Position Overview Revolución is hiring one experienced barista for our downtown Austin shop. This role is for someone who can run a tight bar: consistent espresso, fast workflow, dial-in skills, and strong hospitality. No managing schedules or supervising. Just executing at a high level and keeping standards solid. Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso drinks, matcha, cold brew, and specialty coffee to Revolución standards
• Dial in espresso and grinders daily and hold quality through service (taste, recipes, consistency)
• Daily coffee equipment upkeep (cleaning, backflushing, bar station maintenance)
• Prepare cold-pressed juices and support beverage production as needed
• Open and/or close the bar station accurately (set-up, breakdown, sidework)
• Keep a clean, organized bar and follow food safety standards
• Communicate clearly with the team and handle guest concerns professionally
• Stay punctual, reliable, and ready for high-volume rushes Qualifications
• 2+ years barista experience in a busy shop (high-volume preferred)
• Confident dialing in espresso, adjusting grinders, and texturing milk
• Comfortable working fast while keeping quality consistent
• Reliable attendance and on-time arrival (early mornings and/or evenings)
• Texas Food Handler card, or willing to get one upon hire
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to ~40 lbs Benefits
