Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a positive experience. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, give correct change, and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts. Assist in food handling and food preparation tasks as needed to support beverage service and maintain operational flow. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service while maintaining high-quality standards. Requirements Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving accurate change. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks seamlessly during shifts.
