Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing excellent service to enhance their experience Operate POS systems such as Square POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy using retail math skills and basic math proficiency Assist in food preparation and serving food items according to health standards and company guidelines Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking seamlessly Requirements Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge preferred; passion for coffee is a plus! Familiarity with POS systems like Square POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and proper food preparation techniques Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and café operations Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment Experience in the food industry or retail math is advantageous but not required Join us as a Barista and be part of a team that values energy, dedication, and a love for great coffee.
