Responsibilities Prepare a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS system Square accurately to process retail sales transactions efficiently. Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing personalized recommendations. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Handle cash transactions with precision, processing payments securely and giving correct change. Assist in food handling and food task to support café operations and ensure safety standards are upheld. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards. Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in food service with a strong understanding of beverage preparation techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse guests. Strong multitasking abilities to handle serving, drink service, cash handling, and cleaning simultaneously. Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling procedures, and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Experience in retail sales transactions within the food industry is preferred.
