Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks. Serve food items and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Process cash and card transactions accurately using Square POS systems Maintain cleanliness of the café area by performing regular cleaning duties, food handling, and sanitation to ensure food safety compliance. Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations. Manage retail sales transactions smoothly, including cash handling, processing payments, and balancing registers at shift end. Support food preparation tasks when necessary, adhering to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures. Demonstrate excellent time management to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred, but not required; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
