Responsibilities As a Barista Team Member, you will: Have fun and bring positive energy to every shift Happily greet customers and make them feel welcome Take orders outside at customer's vehicles while creating a friendly, upbeat experience Educate customers about our drinks, food options, and ingredients Follow Ignite Coffee recipes to prepare amazing beverages and food Ensure every order is accurate and served with a smile Process payments, including cash and credit cards Work with your team to keep the shop clean, organized, and stocked Help receive, stock, and organize inventory Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs to management Follow Texas health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe work environment Communicate customer feedback to managers Qualifications and Skills We are looking for someone who: Has a positive, happy attitude and treats people with kindness Loves serving others and making people smile Works well in a fast paced, team environment Communicates respectfully with coworkers and customers Is punctual, dependable, and accountable Takes personal responsibility and pays attention to details Stays clean, organized, and focused during each shift Can build relationships with regular and new customers Has basic math skills Is flexible and available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends Has or is willing to obtain a Texas Food Handler Card Preferred Experience 1 to 2 years of experience as a barista, bartender, server, or in customer service is preferred Hands on experience with coffee brewing equipment is helpful Pay $8.00 per hour plus tips Average hourly wage with tips: $12 to $18 per hour
