About the Role Melby's Coffee & Tea House is looking for a dependable, friendly, and motivated person to join our café team. This is a hands-on position where you'll be making drinks, helping customers, keeping the café running smoothly, and working closely with the rest of the team throughout your shift. Can consistently commit to the availability you provide on your application Are punctual and ready to work at your scheduled start time Have dependable attendance and understand that missing a shift puts extra pressure on the rest of the team Are looking for a job you can regularly show up for rather than something temporary or occasional Are available to work evening/night shifts (starting at 1:30 PM) Have availability on Wednesdays and Sundays — these are priority days for our current scheduling needs Learn new recipes, procedures, and systems quickly Enjoy talking with customers and creating a welcoming experience Can stay productive during slower periods and move with urgency when we're busy Work well with others and are willing to jump in wherever help is needed Take feedback well and are willing to improve as you learn What You'll Be Doing -Your day-to-day responsibilities may include: Making coffee, espresso drinks, matcha, boba teas, and other menu items Preparing and serving pastries Taking customer orders and using our POS system Keeping the bar, counters, equipment, and customer areas clean Restocking ingredients and supplies throughout the shift Following recipes and store procedures consistently Helping teammates during busy periods Making sure customers receive friendly and accurate service Attendance & Reliability Matter Must be dependable, punctual, and consistently available for scheduled shifts. Frequent lateness or call-outs are not a good fit for this position. Experience:

Previous café, restaurant, barista, or customer service experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
