GENERAL SUMMARY

: The Barista prepares and serves high quality beverages from the Daily Dose Kafé. The Barista provides excellent and prompt customer service and maintains a clean and safe working environment. Minimum Education, Training & Experience (includes licenses or certifications):

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

Food Handlers Card Experience:

Experience in the food service industry preferred but not required. Experience in retail industry preferred by not required.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Take, prepare and serve beverages of customer choice Clean and sanitize work areas, kitchen and dining room, utensils and equipment Check and record temperature of refrigerator(s) Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blends or preparation. Order, receive and stock supplies Receive and process customer payments Create materials for advertising daily dose specials, products or events Assisting Kitchen with washing or dishes, stocking grab and go and drink cases. Preparation of case items to restock. Delivering Patient Cart when needed. Assisting Kitchen staff with food service or at the cash register.
