Want to join a great team? Avila Bay Athletic Club & Spa is looking for a high-energy multi tasker with a great smile and a positive attitude. Various shifts are available, including weekdays, nights, and weekends. You must be a good communicator and care about doing a good job. Duties include welcoming members, receiving cafe orders, laundering towels, maintaining a clean environment, scheduling spa appointments, and ringing in sales on a computer. Bartending (beer, wine, and other drinks like margaritas using agave wine base), banquet, and serving shifts will be a priority for this position. Restaurant or bartending experience is required. Attention to detail, interest in wellness, and computer skills are a must! Creating a happy culture is the name of our game. We are looking for outgoing candidates that exhibit happiness at work. Experience in hospitality is necessary. Hourly pay DOE. We also get tips from the food service and bonuses for ringing up certain items. It includes a single membership to the club as long as you are on the schedule at least 2 shifts per week. Must be able to work holidays (we are closed on Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year's Days). Must be at least 18 years old, able to lift 40 pounds, and able to move around for the entire shift. This job is like working in a restaurant - there is always something to do and we do not like to stand around.
