Our beverage program centers on precision, featuring impeccably crafted classic cocktails The Role We are seeking an experienced, passionate and polished bartender to add to our bar team. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of classic mixology, premium spirits, and wine pairings, combined with the effortless grace required for high- end hospitality. Duties Prepare and serve a diverse selection of cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages with precise measurements, proper glassware and ice execution along with pristine presentation. Operate POS systems such as Toast to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Assist with bar inventory by restocking, including spirits, wine, craft beers, and mixers, ensuring stock levels are maintained and properly rotated. Maintain bar cleanliness, organization and stocked in accordance with Lily's principles and food safety standards Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences, enhancing their overall experience. Build rapport with our regulars and welcome tourists with warmth and charm that defines Idyllwild Handle responsibilities in a high-energy fast paced environment while demonstrating excellent time management skills and keeping composed Ensure compliance with all health regulations and licensing laws related to alcohol service and food safety standards. (i.e checking IDs, making sure to not overserve alcohol, etc.) Skills 2+ years bartending experience at premium restaurant, cocktail lounge/bar Knowledge of POS systems for smooth transaction processing. Proven experience in bartending within fine dining or hospitality settings, with strong cocktail mixing skills. Deep understanding of beverage recipe development, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer trends, and mixology techniques. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele in lively environments Strong food safety awareness and food handling practices to ensure guest safety at all times. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours without compromising quality or service speed. Experience and knowledge when cash handling, and processing transactions accurately using retail math principles. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality industry schedules.
