Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Frontdesk/ Bartender, where you'll be the welcoming face of our establishment and the master of craft cocktails! This vibrant role combines exceptional customer service with expert bartending skills, creating memorable experiences for our guests. You'll manage front desk operations, handle reservations, and serve a diverse array of beverages with finesse. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process at the front desk. Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to optimize seating and service flow. Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and quality standards. Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing offerings to delight guests and keep menus fresh and exciting. Process cash transactions accurately while handling credit card payments through POS systems; maintain proper cash handling procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and food handling protocols. Assist with bar management duties during busy nights or special events such as banquets or nightclub functions. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during peak hours while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles, particularly in bartending or restaurant settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS; previous bar management experience is a plus. Extensive cocktail experience with expertise in mixology techniques and beverage recipe development. Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beers, and beverage trends; ability to recommend pairings confidently. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure. Experience working in fine dining environments or nightclubs is preferred; banquet or catering experience is advantageous. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations related to sales. Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and cash handling best practices. Ability to manage time effectively while balancing serving duties with front desk responsibilities; previous hospitality or retail math experience is beneficial.
