Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits. Engage with guests warmly to understand their preferences and recommend drinks that enhance their experience. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all tools and glassware are sanitized and stocked. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and credit payments efficiently. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu exciting and innovative. Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering to all food safety and beverage regulations. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours, including catering events or nightclub nights. Requirements Proven experience in bartending, mixology, or food service within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and cocktail techniques. Familiarity with POS systems like TOAST for processing transactions smoothly. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in fine dining settings or nightclub environments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately; food safety certification is desirable.
