Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests to understand their preferences, offer tailored drink suggestions, and create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling duties efficiently while maintaining accountability. Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and communicating needs to management proactively. Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to enhance our drink menu offerings. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods such as banquets or nightclub events. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs, recognizing intoxication signs, and adhering to legal regulations. Requirements Proven experience in bartending within fine dining, nightclub, or catering environments; familiarity with food service operations is essential. Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, brewing processes, and craft beer trends. Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; strong basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash accurately. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts; experience in bar management is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of beverages in compliance with health regulations. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as banquets or nightclub nights. Previous experience in hospitality industry roles involving serving alcohol, cashiering, or retail math is highly desirable.
