Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and craft beers Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to increase sales and guest satisfaction Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate food and beverage service during events like banquets or catering functions Uphold all food handling and safety regulations while serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with licensing laws Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and brewing processes Experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours without compromising quality Proven sales ability to upsell beverages and enhance guest satisfaction through personalized recommendations Prior fine dining or nightclub experience demonstrating excellent customer service skills Familiarity with beverage recipe development and bartending best practices in hospitality settings Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as banquets or catering functions Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations Experience with bar management tasks such as supervising staff or managing a busy bar environment is a plus Embark on an energetic journey in the hospitality industry where your bartending talents will shine!
