In this role, you will craft and serve a variety of beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and create a lively, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and beverage recipe development is a huge plus. We are in a downtown setting, so one minute we could be slow, slammed the next. The ability to shift gears while rolling with the punches is a necessity. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with consistency. Engage with guests and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Process cash and card transactions accurately using Toast POS. Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies, track out-of-stock issues. Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal drinking age regulations. Uphold high standards of customer service by creating a lively yet professional environment that encourages repeat visits. Work with owner to develop events and programs to increase our weekly foot traffic. Be able to properly close down the establishment with standards in cleaning, detail, and safety. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in hospitality settings with a strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and import and domestic beers. Demonstrated ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments. Being a team player is a MUST.
